  1. Choosing The Perfect Kid’s Bed There are numerous types of beds available for kid’s rooms that range in style, colour, and look. From infant cribs to beds for teenagers, the world is literally bursting at the seams with childhood bedroom sets. In addition to there being a plethora of kid-related bedding items throughout the world, Melbourne, Australia is known for having some of the very best picks. With so many options to choose from, how do you know which is best for your child? You want the bed to be practical and creative but also unique and stylish. Just like you, your child needs to have a bed that they can appreciate and be happy about going to sleep in. You might even want your kid, depending on his or her age, to help you pick out the bed. In terms of beds for toddlers or those transitioning out of the baby crib, consider a basic bunk bed that is equipped with a character of some sort. This can be an easy choice if your little one is partial to a certain animated TV show or toy. For example, a bunk bed equipped with a princess palace or tractor theme is a perfect choice for any little girl or boy. For safety reasons, you can keep the top bunk off limits by storing toys or other items up there until your child is old enough to safely utilise this area of the bed. Alternatively, you can take it down completely and use the bed as a single bed for the time being. Bunk beds also make a wonderful option for siblings who are sharing a room. If you have a little genius on your hands or simply a child who likes to read, a bed that sports a bookcase headboard is another option. In some cases, you don’t even need to replace the entire bed, just the headboard. In addition to books, these types of beds are great for storing toys, school work, games, and a variety of other items that kids often have cluttering their bedrooms. If you choose a bookcase headboard, go a step further and add storage drawers under the frame. This is a great idea for helping kid of all ages stay organised. Items like toys, shoes, and clothing can conveniently be stored inside of the drawers. This type of bed is great for college kids heading to uni as it provides extra storage space within the dormitory room. Going back to the bunk bed idea, did you know that some bunks are able to sport a twin bed on top and a double bed on the bottom? This style of bunk bed is great for kids who share a room but one sibling is

Bunk beds of this variety are also perfect for when you have guests staying over for the night. Your guests will feel quite comfortable sleeping in the bottom bed while their own child nestles down for the evening in the smaller top bunk. In other words, this style of bed is quite practical. Finally, another popular kid’s bed is the loft bed. This style is sort of like the bunk bed but does not contain a bottom bunk. This is another great option for the college student or a teenager as it gives the child a place to sleep and a cosy compartment for a desk, computer, chair, lamp, and other accessories that kids of that age require. Whatever bed you choose, make sure it complements your child’s individual style and offers them a place to hang out on when spending time in their bedroom.
