  1. A Beginner’s Guide to Trading Options Many beginners in stock investment are scared by options trading. This profitable investment option scares investors away a lot due to various complex jargon and strategies involved. However, with the right options trading guide, can boost your investment portfolio. To start off, you must understand what Options are. An Option is an agreement between two parties, whereby it grants the buyer the right (but not the obligation) to buy or sell an underlying asset at a predetermined price during a particular period of time. People can trade options on different assets such as equities, commodities and currencies. There are two main types of options namely calls and puts. A call option buyer has the right to buy underlying securities whilst a put option buyer has the right to sell them. When someone acquires an opinion they pay a fee to the seller for using that contract which is considered lost if not used. If they don’t use their choice however then they lose this fee paid. Traders use options for different reasons such as to protect investments, make predictions, and earn income. Understanding the risks is key in options trading.
