  1. What is a Stretch Film or wraps? Stretch films or wraps is a stretchable plastic film. It is used to wrap a product to keep the wrapped products secured in place. It is commonly used in shipping pallets to keep the products and boxes safe and locked during the shipping process. These wraps help in packing the product properly and minimise the product loss during the loading, unloading and shipment process. It looks very similar to plastic wraps that have many uses in the kitchen area. But they are a little different. They are strong enough to hold the products together as they are called heavy-duty wraps that keep the product in place. It is available in different widths, colours and grades to fulfil the different uses. In this article, we will discuss stretch film wrap, their types and their advantages in length.

  2. Different types of Stretch Films Stretch wraps come in different types to fulfil the different stretch packaging film needs of the people. Have a look at the different types of stretch wraps! A) Cast Stretch It has excellent clarity. It let the users see through the wraps. It is very easy to stretch. It offers two-sided cling. It is helpful in securely wrapping the products. They are quite low in price. It has less holding power and tears resistance in comparison to the blown wraps. B) Blown Stretch It has the highest tear resistance. That machine is called a stretch wrap roll machine. It leads to easy, fast and efficient wrapping. It helps in securing more load in lesser time. Blown machine films, cast machine stretch films and pre-stretched films are its common types.

It is an eco-friendly process because less stretch film material is consumed when you wrap the load. It is strong, stable, consistent and needs minimal effort in application. F) Colour Stretch These industrial stretch wraps fulfil those needs that are specific and general-purpose stretch films are not able to accommodate them. It is an excellent way to use for international shipments, dating inventors and colour coding. They are puncture-resistant as well.
