Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs) are one type of stakeholder that plays a significant role in schools. PTAs are typically comprised of parents, teachers, and other community members who work together to support and enhance the educational experience for students. Both PTAs and parents have important roles in education. PTAs serve as a bridge between parents and teachers.

Why is it important for parents to participate in school activities? • When Parents are involved in their children’s education, children are more likely to do well in school and have better social and emotional development. • Parental involvement improves student achievement, self-esteem, and behavior. • Helps to build strong relationships between parents and their child’s school.

REPUBLIC ACT No. 11310 An Act Institutionalizing the PantawidPamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) CONDITIONS AND COMPLIANCE In order to receive the abovementioned subsidies, all the succeeding conditions must be met by the household-beneficiaries: ………………………..and; 5. Children-beneficiaries aged 3-18 must enroll in school, and maintain an attendance of at least 85% of class days every month.

  9. 4 Ps Beneficiaries in School Records: 200+ Learners from Grade 7 to Grade 12 • 4Ps keeps more children in school especially those in age cohorts at risk of dropping out. • 4Ps children display more grit or determination in terms of school-related activities like asking for help when lesson was difficult, striving to get higher grades, and finishing school work before playing or resting.
