  2. Now that you have finally decided to take a professional CPC license course, here are a few things you should be keeping in mind. Before you begin with the reading, you must know that you will have to take training every five years to stay updated with what is being added to your resume. We also recommend you research the types of courses available for driving heavy vehicles. Stay updated on the new drivers' rules After going through a vehicle test, you have to go for a CPC qualification that allows you to drive and earn a living through it. So, along with a practical test, you also have to go through a computer-based theory test. It is essential for you to stay updated with everything going around the industry and the new rules and regulations. Don't forget about the periodic training Periodic training offers an assurance of your driving skills and if you are still fit to drive or not. This training has to be conducted after every five years for about 35 hours. You are allowed to take the training anytime during these five years, but you won't be able to work if you fail to do so. Periodic training is an essential part of the CPC license course, and you are unfit to drive for a living if you don't take this seriously. There are no casualties given in cases like this because you already get a span of five years before your next training. It is always better to be done with it one year before it gets expired.

Make sure to take your driving permit, license, digital tachograph card, or driver CPC card every time before leaving for your training program. You will receive authentication of your attendance when your training gets over to help you keep a record. Ensure to keep it safe because this is one proof of your training and when you last attended it. You can always recheck how much time you are left with until your next training. You will always have to carry the CPC card Once you are through with the training, you will receive a DQC (Drivers Qualification card), also known as the CPC card, at the address mentioned on your driver's license. It will use the same picture and signature as on the driver's license. You have to make sure that you carry this card along whenever you drive professionally. You can get yourself in serious trouble if you are found without it unless you have just completed your training and are waiting for a new card to arrive. You will have to give proof to this statement too so, you better be prepared for it if you are lying. Never miss your training deadline Periodic training is one of the most important things to make sure you keep driving till the time you want. If you fail to complete your training or miss the deadline due to any reason, you cannot drive for life! That can obviously become a serious problem. Try your best to complete all your training before time. It is just a matter of thirty-five hours.
