  7. What is Mulch Films? Mulch films are conducive to the sustainable development of agricultural systems and ensure growth by preventing water loss and protects the essential nutrients. Plastic mulch films are used to give the new seedlings a head start; the mulch helps reduce evaporation and conserve moisture, increases soil temperature, and keeps control on the weeds.

  8. “Mulch Features, Advantages, Benefits” • Reflect UV Rays • 100% virgin raw material • Different Color • Pre-Hole pattern • High grade packaging • UV Stabilized and highly pesticide and Sulphur resistance • Increase in yield by 30-50% • Better crop quality • Higher return on investment • Higher profit margin • Export opportunities • Saves labor cost • Prevents weed • Prevents soil erosion • Lowers water consumption • Keeps out insect • Protects the roots

  9. Types of Mulch and its uniqueness: • Silver/Black Mulch It reduce soil temperature because they are highly reflective also works well in areas that have high soil temperature • White/Black Mulch It reduce soil temperature because they are highly reflective also works well in areas that have high soil temperature It is primarily used for a "cooling" effect. It has dual properties: light reflection and weed control since a layer of white is co-extruded over the black. • Black/ Black or Black Mulch Absorbs most UV, visible, and infrared wavelengths and helps to increase the temperature of soil and conserves moisture in soil.

  10. Transparent or Solarization Mulch It increases soil temperature and allows rapid root growth. It works best for warming up the soil and for encouraging faster growth • Red/Black Mulch It warms soil and conserves moisture. It improves yield and flavor of the plants, helps plants grow faster and produce more abundantly. • Yellow/Black Mulch It is used to develop insect management systems as it's very attractive to them and is used as a trap. This mulch has long been used in greenhouses and now in high tunnels to monitor insects.

  11. Types of Holes in Mulch: • Zig Zag hole Mulch – 1000 x 25 x 400metres Centre To Hole Distance : 6 Inch. Hole To Hole Distance : 12 Inch Hole Diameter : 55 MM • Straight Line hole Mulch – 1200 x 25 x 400 meters Hole To Hole Distance : 12 Inch Hole Diameter : 65 MM

  18. What is Solarization Film? Solarization is chemical free method of sterilizing soil. It is achieved by raising soil temperature by covering it with thin clear plastic up to 35 microns thickness. This plastic sheet allow sun's radiant energy to be trapped in the SOH hence it is done during the hot period of year when the soil will receive most direct sunlight.

  19. “Features, Advantage and Tech Specification of Solarization Film ” • Superior light reflection • Tear resistance • Excellent puncture-resistance • Impervious to heat • Controls nematodes • Controls multiple soil borne diseases & pests • Increases soil fertility • Come’s with single roll packaging.

  20. What is Crop Cover? Crop cover helps to protect crops from insects, wind, rain and sunburn. It helps in capturing heat on sunny days and it retains heat radiated from the ground at night; hence protecting crops from cold temperature. Their uses range from preventing insects, especially fruit flies, from finding and damaging the fruits. These bags provide physical protection from mechanical injuries (scars and scratches) and prevent female flies from laying eggs on the crop.

  21. “Crop Cover Features, Advantages, Benefits” • Non-woven • UV stabilized • Breathable • Eco-friendly • Tear-resistant • Keeps pests, birds & insects away • Saves the crop from hail, wind & frost • Better crop quality • Lowers pesticide consumption • Enables earlier seeding hence larger yields. • Creates suitable microclimate for growth & development. • More cushioning effect to the soil surface. • Better Gas exchange capacity thus less suffocation to root. • Used for off-season production. • Better air/water and gas permeability. • Can provide mini greenhouse effect.

  38. “Fabric details of Shade Net ” • The knitted variant is made of polyethylene blend which can deflect heat and light and is lightweight. It is also sturdy and can maintain regular wear and tear. • The woven variant is purely made out of the polypropylene which has the same benefits as the knitted variant but with added effects like being heavier and more adept to cold weather or use in winter. It does so because of its ability to store heat more than the knitted variant. “Density details of Shade Net material” • The density of the material is important as it is the determining factor to how much light passes through the cloth and how much heat is trapped inside the shade net.  • (for example, 75% shade factor means - the net will cut 75% of light intensity and would allow only 25% of light intensity to pass through the net) • 50% - shade net house, Vermi compost, poly house • 75% - Poly House, Nursery or Boundaries • 90% - construction, industrial area

  39. “Colors of Shade Net ” • Dark color shade net cloths are better in absorbing the sun’s heat while the light-colored shade net cloths reflect the suns heat. • Green x Black - cut off un-wanted U.V rays and gives aesthetic look. • Black x Black - it absorbs and radiates heat inside the shade net house. Used in nursery raising. • White x Black - diffuses the light inside the shade net house. White shade net cloths reduce the amount and the harshness or strength of the light entering and not the quality of the light spectrum.  • Green x Green - enhance the process of photosynthesis in plants resulting better foliage in ornamental plants.
