When you enter the water, aim for a vertical entry with as little splash as possible, especially in competitive diving. Body Control Having strong core muscles and good flexibility is key to maintaining control while you're in the air. Breathing Technique Make sure to hold your breath at just the right moment and avoid exhaling too soon once you're underwater. Start Position Whether you're diving from a platform or a springboard, it's important to keep your balance and stay focused. Safety Awareness Always check that the water is deep enough for diving. And remember, know how to safely bail out of a dive if the situation calls for it.
