Vancouver

About Vancouver

A world leader in English language training

Vancouver, originally established by the coastal Indians around 500 B.C., was

later discovered by Captain George Vancouver in 1792.

The city itself was incorporated into Canada in 1886. Since then, it has grown

an internationally admired metropolis.

Vancouver is consistently rated as one of the most beautiful multicultural and

cosmopolitan cities in the world. Here, you will enjoy the best of many cultures

as you surround yourself with their various influences : language, food, fashion

and entertainment. In fact, many view Vancouver as a world within city.

We are nestled in between the Pacific Ocean and the Coastal Mountains and

enjoy the country’s best year round climate.

Students say about UCL .!

  • At the previous 10 years 30,000 students enrolled UCL .

  • Example previous students from around world say about UCL.

We started ours studies in Canada at UCL. We chose UCL because it had few students each class,

which is better for learning English. Now, UCL is bigger but the atmosphere is still the same and the

teachers are friendly

I like my teachers at UCL, they have

excellent skills & are very friendly. My English is improving all the time

and the schedule is interesting

Hugo Canto (Mexico) & Tetsuo Osawa (Japan)

Yadria (Mexico)

Listening class is fun because we

watch movies and talk about them. We can learn many things about

Canada. They speak naturally

but we try hard to understand.

We like UCL

UCL has great teachers & professi-onal Staff. I find UCL interesting

because I have the opportunity to meet friends from all over the

world. I am very happy with UCL

Sylvaschan Lechel (Germany)

Luis Beltrami & Allessandra Belfort (Brazil)

I like UCL because I learn new

things everyday. UCL also teaches slang and some vocabulary, which we need to use on the street or

in shopping. The teachers at UCL are great.

UCL feels like family to me. Everyone supports everyone else. I was so shy when I first started but now I really

love speaking in English

Silke Gansser (Germany)

Teng Yi Chiu (China)

I like meeting new friends and

practicing my English here. On

Friday activities I can speak English and learn more about Canadians.

I like telling my teachers about my

country and learning about theirs

This school has a good environment

for studying English. Students always study hard and the teachers are

strict about studying, but kind when

they are teaching. I like this school

very much
