  1. Gaskets and Gasket Materials American Seal and Packing At American Seal and Packing we provide a full range of Gaskets to meet your specifications. Our gasket materials include quality brands including Durlon, Leader, AS&P, Thermoseal, FMI and Teadit. Our methods of cutting included dies cutting, knife edge cnc (dieless flash cutting), laser and waterjet gasket cutting. Products AMERICAN SEAL & PACKING We cut our own custom gaskets from quality Gasket Materials to meet your specifications. Our gasket materials stock includes quality brands AS&P, Durlon, Sichem, Thermoseal, Grafoil, Leader, and Teadit. We can cut other brands including Garlock, Frenzelit, Sepco, Utex, Interface Solutions, Etc. Gasket material is used to seal joints between 2 flat surfaces. Knowing what to place between flanges or mating pieces requires understanding what demands the joint may see. The material used for your gasket must be compatible with the temperatures, pressures, and media the gasket will see. The sealing materials that will seal the widest range of applications are Flexible Graphite and Expanded PTFE.

  2. Our Gaskets The gaskets we recommend are based on sound engineering. Time-proven solutions to fluid sealing problems are our specialty. As an independent family-owned business, we can supply the best gasket material to cut your gaskets from and cut them for you quickly. The last gasket did not last long enough? Let us help to select a better brand, material, or design for the job. Our Materials The key to producing a quality gasket is to use only the best gasket materials. We pride ourselves on cutting materials from the finest grade manufacturers including; Durlon, Grafoil, Sichem, Garlock, Thermoseal, AS&P and others. Sealing since 1989 With over 30 years of dealing with every type of industry and solving gasket sealing applications from each of them, we have solutions. Most of the sheet material we cut is made in the USA. Our objective, however, is to provide quality sealing solutions from the best possible quality source.

  3. Gaskets & Gasket Materials Elastomeric Material Commonly referred to as rubber from natural rubber, synthetic elastomers come in many forms. We offer sheet goods, so you can cut the gasket you need when you need it. Non-Asbestos Non-asbestos materials are a combination of an elastomer combined with pressure-resistant fillers. The most common brands are Durlon, Garlock, and Thermoseal (Klinger).

  4. Rubber Gasket The properties of a “rubber” gasket vary greatly depending on the compound rubber the gasket is cut from. Neoprene is great for the cold but not the Heat while Viton (FKM) is just the opposite. Flange Gasket Kits Isolation Gasket Kits make safer pipelines by reducing conductivity between pipe flanges. Also called Insulation kits. Materials of construction include G10, G11, Non-asbestos, Viton and Phenolic. Sleeves and washers complete the set.

  5. O-Rings Encapsulated O-Rings with an FEP shell. This problem-solving design prevents Silicone or Viton from being chemically attacked but maintains o-ring recovery from compression. PTFE Joint Sealant Expanded PTFE Joint Sealant. This unique product allows you t make a gasket on the spot. With an adhesive one side, simply peel the paper off and overlap at one point on the flange.

  6. PTFE Materials AS&P offers multiple grades of PTFE including Expanded PTFE, Skived PTFE and biaxially oriented PTFE made in the HS10 process. Flexible Graphite Gaskets We cut high-temperature graphite gaskets in an infinite number of shapes. Our programmable CNC allows us to cut gaskets without dies. We also die form graphite parts!
