  2. HOMELESSPEOPLE Many of us believe homeless individuals can rebuild their life by simply getting a job. Unfortunately, finding employment while living on the streets is very challenging for several reasons. Staying jobless for a prolonged period makes it difficult to arrange a roof over the head, taking a toll on mental and physical health. Many of our unhoused neighbours suffered countless battles throughout their lives. In most cases, they lack access to shower facilities, grooming services, hygiene products, and clean clothing. Several homeless individuals don’t get the opportunity to take a shower for weeks or even months.

  3. Generosity Global’s mission is to change this narrative and strive to overcome the constraints of limited resources. We believe that having a job is one of the first steps in getting out of homelessness. A presentable look is a prerequisite for any job interview, while proper attire helps to build confidence. To accomplish this and to secure a job, it is critical to provide essential supplies and services such as showers to our homeless brothers and sisters.

Providing individuals who are experiencing homelessness with access to all of these resources not only gives them a chance to feel brand new but it restores confidence, hope, and dignity to those who struggle within the community. Having better self-esteem leads to better mental health and, subsequently, increases job and housing opportunities, a domino effect that starts with a simple shower. With your help, we can show our unhoused brothers and sisters that no matter their condition, they are still worthy and should have access to the supplies they need to keep their hygiene in order and their spirits up. We believe that something as basic as a shower and clean-up shouldn’t be hard to access. Generosity Shower exemplifies how helping your community only takes a small step, whether it is donating, volunteering, or otherwise supporting the cause in another capacity.
