  2. Le tradizioni di Halloween. I bambini inglesi aspettano con ansia l’ultimo giorno di ottobre. Il nome Halloween deriva da AllHallowsEve, la sera prima di AllHallowsDay (noto anche come All Saint Day, il giorno di Ognissanti) il primo di novembre.

  3. TRICK OR TREAT! I bambini, durante la magica notte di Halloween, si travestono da spettri e streghe, ma anche da principesse, maghi e pirati.

  4. Girovagando per le vie, bussano alle case che hanno una zucca di Halloween (Jack-o-lantern) sulla porta.

  5. A chi apre la porta chiedono: «Trick or Treat Trick or Treat Give me something good to eat.» Clicca sopra il rettangolo per vedere il video.

  6. Se la persona sceglie «Treat» darà ai bambini dolci, che verranno messi nella LootBag. Se non ricevono caramelle o frutta, fanno degli scherzetti.

  7. Jack-o-lantern è il simbolo più noto di Halloween: si tratta di una zucca vuota intagliata in modo da riprodurre un viso grottesco, illuminato dall’interno da una candela.
