The ALISON Manager “Organizer” screen loads, with your new and any existing groups displayed on the page to the right.
Use the panel provided under each of your groups to add the e-mail addresses of all those you’d like to invite to your group. Once you have added each address, click the “Invite” button to send the invitations.
Confirmation of which e-mail addresses have been sent an invite is indicated on the page to the left.
The e-mail sent by ALISON to each invitee contains a direct link to the course on ALISON containing the correct group and enrolment key information.
It also contains a link to register with ALISON should the learner need to do so, as well as a clear record of the course, group name and enrolment key should that information be needed by the learner at another time.
Simply clicking on that link will bring the learner (if already registered with ALISON) to the Enrolment page for the course and the group, as well as populate the enrolment key field on the learner’s behalf. They then click the “Enrol in Group” button to proceed and start the course as part of your ALISON Manager Group!
Once Group enrolment has taken place (or rejected in favour of independent study) the course module/lesson outline pages load, the learner chooses a topic, and the learning content is loaded within their Web browser.
Immediately upon completion of any learner activity, the progress data is available to you within the various screens and functional areas of ALISON Manager.
