  2. Student Visa requirements to Study in Canada. A Student Visa is assessed by an officer of the Citizenship and Immigration Canada – www.cic.gc.ca The officer at the mission will assess the Student Visa Applicant based on the Regulations relating to the grant of a Student Visa to study in Canada.

  3. Student Visa requirements to Study in Canada. Visa procedures in Canada are complicated and fairly detailed. One needs to be very careful while applying for a student visa in Canada. The procedures and documentation varies according to your academic credentials and language ability along with the university or college or institute you intend to pursue your studies. There are three major categories when you apply.  University  S.P.P (Student Partnership Program)  General

  4. Student Visa for Universities. You will need to ensure that you meet the following requirements to be granted a student visa to a Unversity. - Satisfactory Academic credentials - IELTS of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band - Proof of funds.

  5. Student Visa for Student Partnership Program. You will need to ensure that you meet the following requirements to be granted a student visa to an SPP College. - Satisfactory Academic credentials - IELTS of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band - Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC). - Other Documents as per Checklist. – Medical, Visa Application, Photographs etc

  6. Student Visa for General Category. You will need to ensure that you meet the following requirements to be granted a student visa for General category. - Satisfactory Academic credentials - IELTS of 6.0 bands overall - Proof of funds, including Income tax returns - Statement of Purpose - Affidavits - Employment documents
