  4. Student Life at Bradford The student population at Bradford is one of the most diverse you will find anywhere, with students from over 110 countries studying here. Just over one in five of our undergraduate students are from overseas and there is a roughly equal split of males and females. There are 10,000 students at the University, with 78% of these studying undergraduate programmes, so the community is big enough for you to find plenty of interesting friends but small enough to guarantee you won't feel lost in the crowd.

  5. Study at Bradford The University of Bradford received its Royal Charter in 1966 but its origins date back to the 1860s. Today the University has around 10,000 students. Bradford has always been a forward-thinking, modern and student-orientated University.   6. The Hub In March 2007 the University opened The Hub - the one-stop-shop for students. It has brough together services that were previously scattered across the campus giving a focal point to services for our students. It includes: •Accommodation (University managed accommodation) •Admissions including Undergraduate and Postgraduate Admissions, School Liaison, Compact Office and Mature Student Adviser •Student Course Enquiries •International Office •Registry including Student Registry and Graduate Registry •Student Financial and Information Services •Student financial transactions including cashiers and Finance debtors team

  7. Careers Making Knowledge Work is more than just part of our logo, it's our raison d'être, our whole reason for being. Of our undergraduate graduates, 94% were in employment or further study within six months of graduating*. Our courses provide academic excellence, at the same time as giving you vocationally focused degree programmes. We also give you the practical skills and confidence to find the job you really want. In addition, we have a Postgraduate Career Development Adviser based at the School of Management. Career Development Services Career Development Services is responsible for the majority of the specialist activity relating to your career planning.

  12. Courses The University has around 140 degree courses at undergraduate level and around 80 at postgraduate level. These are spread across the 7 Academic Schools: •Computing, Informatics and Media •Engineering, Design and Technology •Health Studies •Life Sciences (including Archaeological, Geographical and Environmental Sciences) •Management (including Law) •Social and International Studies •School of Lifelong Education and Development, which also offers part-time courses.
