  2. Demerits of Online MBA Program • As per a report from the QS MBA Applications and Aspirations, there are more than 15% of applicants are thinking of studying MBA through online mode. The online MBA program is acquiring speed because most of the top business institutions have started offering online classes. We will now discuss the cons or the challenges of enrolling in an online MBA program while studying through distance learning.

Demerits of Online MBA Program • Miss the on-campus experience • This is the main drawback of the online programs, although you have many face-to-face interactions with other students the on-campus experience is something different. The feel and the environment of the campus cannot be replaced by in-home online studies. The online programs also do not provide internship programs as they are already working. • Tend to miss out on the opportunity of traveling overseas • The students who opt for the online MBA programs in foreign countries, miss out on the opportunity to travel and explore the new country. They also miss learning new cultures, customs, and the language of the people of the host country. Apart, from this, the students who study abroad get better employment opportunities as compared to online students.

  4. Demerits of Online MBA Program • Need for self-discipline • Through an on-campus program, you can focus more on your curriculum. However, through an online program, the student needs to maintain a balance between their work, studies, and family. You need to take some time from your busy schedule to complete your course curriculum. The online study format does not provide instant feedback or help in your assignments. The students need to put more effort into it as compared to the on-campus students.
