4. It gives us immense pleasure to conduct the International Business Seminar and MSME National Award for Business Excellence 2022 in the Pink City of the country. It is also a great pleasure to have the Governor of Rajasthan, Honourable Shri Kalraj Mishra as the chief guest of this august function. The Honourable Governor inaugurated Global India Business Forum (GIBF) on December 16 at the Agriculture College Ground, Pune (Maharashtra), when he was Cabinet Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. With his blessings GIBF started functioning and has come this far. It is also an honour to have ambassadors of seven countries grace the occasion. We are thankful to H.E. GIBF can promote these industries by facilitating business opportunities in the country and across borders. This award ceremony in Rajasthan has definitely boosted the morale of entrepreneurs here and will motivate to take their businesses across shores. The government can implement its schemes on its own. Early Life & Achievements Dr. Kavita was born in Siliguri (West Bengal), a quiet and serene town nestled in the foothills of the mighty Himalaya, but raised within the hustle and bustle of India's capital, New Delhi. Her formative years were shaped by her surroundings and as her school was attached to a gurudwara, singing Gurbani and doing Seva became ingrained in her from childhood. It was here, at age seven that she realised that she wanted to be a caregiver for life, and what better way to do it than becoming a doctor! With this dream in her eyes she continued to explore many extracurricular activities including painting, singing, yoga and meditation. With time, as her passion for her dream became even stronger, her family decided to relocate to Jaipur for her education. It was in this Pink City that her dreams finally took wings and she secured the second rank amongst girls in Rajasthan in the pre- Medical entrance examination in 1997! This was a moment of great pride not just for her family but even for her. Apart from the academic excellence she had proven, it was a testament to the fact that her childhood dream was within her grasp! Dr Kavita is a strong supporter of animal welfare and works for the well-being of birds and stray animals like cattle, dogs etc. Recently, she became the executive committee member of Rajasthan's Jan Manch Trust and Bird Hospital. Thus, Dr. Kavita is multi-faceted - being humanitarian, philanthropist, social worker and a doctor at heart. Vision and Mission Along with aiming for human welfare she wants to spend time working for the welfare of birds and animals. Through her efforts she wants to provide food, shelter and good medical facilities to the cattle, either by building large gaushalas or in their own spaces. After completing her graduation from the renowned SMS Medical College, Jaipur, she went on to pursue her post-graduation in OBS Gynaecology from SP Medical College, Bikaner, one of the oldest and most reputed institutions in India. After her marriage, she and her husband moved to the City of Dreams, Mumbai for two-and-a- half years where she worked in the prestigious Hinduja Hospital and Bombay Hospital. This brief stint, apart from honing her professional skills ingrained in her a spirit of freedom and adventure and she learned to value people for their uniqueness. Returning to Jaipur, she was once again drawn to academics and hence completed an advanced one year fellowship in Gynaecology endoscopy (FGES) along with a fellowship in minimal invasive surgery FMAS by 2019.
