Fiber Optic Splicing Machine - Fibresales

The Mechanical Splice is designed for creating a stable connection between two fibre optic cables. Often used in FTTH, LAN and Fibre Optic repairs the mechanical splices are suitable for connecting both single-mode and multimode fibres with coatings of 250 or 900um. They can be used in various applications of fibre such as; aerial, buried or building distribution, they can even be used in conjunction with pigtails to quickly add a connector in the field.
https://fibresales.com.au/test-termination-measurement/fusion-splicer-products/Mechanical-Splice-5-Pack
3. A fiber optic splicing machine is a device used to connect two optical fibers together. The machine uses a laser to fuse the two fibers together, creating a permanent connection. The machine can also be used to repair damaged fibers.

 4. There are four major types of mechanical splices Compression only mechanical splices or end bearing splices Tension and compression mechanical splices Mechanical lap splices or tension only mechanical splice Dowel bar mechanical splices
