THE GENRE THRILLER/ACTION
THEIDEA if this were to be a full-length film, the basic plot of it would pretty much be about a troubled child in a 'normal' middle class family, however; the film will show how he got to be so troubled through the neglect and mistreatment from the rest of his family, and how his upbringing led him to how he is today, throughout the film we will see his mentality spiral out of control as his parents and family leave him out of family events, expose him to drugs, smoking, and violent films.Although he is given an infinite amount of freedom by his parents and family, this leads him down a very violent path when all he really wanted/needed was love from his family. The Film will end with the same scene as the opening scene which I think could be cool.
THEIDEA(OPENING SEQUENCE) Starts of in a 1.37:1 aspect ratio, black and white old timey film, the film is an old violent gangster film (preferably the 1932 edition of Scarface).
THEIDEA(OPENING SEQUENCE) I would like the noise i linked below to be playing throughout this scene to build suspense. as the music progresses, I want the camera to slowly transition/ zoom out from the scene of the old timey film and show us the audience the the film is on a tv
THEIDEA(OPENING SEQUENCE) the camera will then continue to zoom out and show the viewer that the psychologically disturbed kid is watching the tv, except he is in a suit with blood all over it, it zooms out even further and we a dead lady lying on the floor, that's when the music hits its climax and finally stops, and the camera goes black, and the credits start rolling.
VISUAL CUES The visual cues, colour, design that I want has a lot of influences. To put it in perspective, WES ANDERSON
VISUAL CUES Wes uses symmetry like his life depends on it. I also like symmetry.
VISUAL CUES In film there is a thing called the rule of thirds.
VISUAL CUES The rule of thirds is a composition guideline that places your subject in the left or right third of an image, leaving the other two thirds more open. While there are other forms of composition, the rule of thirds generally leads to compelling and well-composed shots.
VISUAL CUES Wes Anderson uses it like this

VISUAL CUES And its sick, so I want to.
