  2. Saturday is my family day. On Saturdays, you’ll find all my children sat around my dining table. My oldest side-by-side with my youngest. We talk, we listen, we laugh, we commiserate. • For me, the dining table is the most important piece of furniture in any home. • I love food. I love getting creative in the kitchen. Barbecue, middle eastern, Italian, I love it all. • Most of all I love the shared experience of cooking and dining together. I like preparing a meal and seeing others enjoy it.

  3. Eating together is a unique kind of experience. Even better if you’re the provider. • A dining table is more than just a place to balance your plate. It brings the family together in so many ways. You can play board games on a dining table. • You can do your homework on it, read books at it, talk about your day while sat around it. • Whenever I’m planning a new residential scheme, I make the dining table a focal point.

  4. Maybe the home is for a young couple beginning their life together. Or a busy family juggling all their different schedules, it could be an older couple with decades of memories behind them. • I like to imagine that whoever calls one of our spaces home, they will be encouraged to find time for each other, inspired by an inviting dining table to share a meal, talk about their day, enjoy each other’s company. • Some may tell you that the dining table is going out of fashion.
