A dining table is more than just a place to balance your plate. It brings the family together in so many ways. You can play board games on a dining table. You can do your homework on it, read books at it, talk about your day while sat around it.

Saturday is my family day. On Saturdays, you’ll find all my children sat around my dining table. My oldest side-by-side with my youngest. We talk, we listen, we laugh, we commiserate. • For me, the dining table is the most important piece of furniture in any home. • I love food. I love getting creative in the kitchen. Barbecue, middle eastern, Italian, I love it all. • Most of all I love the shared experience of cooking and dining together. I like preparing a meal and seeing others enjoy it.
Eating together is a unique kind of experience. Even better if you’re the provider. • A dining table is more than just a place to balance your plate. It brings the family together in so many ways. You can play board games on a dining table. • You can do your homework on it, read books at it, talk about your day while sat around it. • Whenever I’m planning a new residential scheme, I make the dining table a focal point.
Maybe the home is for a young couple beginning their life together. Or a busy family juggling all their different schedules, it could be an older couple with decades of memories behind them. • I like to imagine that whoever calls one of our spaces home, they will be encouraged to find time for each other, inspired by an inviting dining table to share a meal, talk about their day, enjoy each other’s company. • Some may tell you that the dining table is going out of fashion. But for me, it will always be the heart of a loving home. • Follow FarisMousa’s Profile for more updates!
