    • Toastmasters International began in 1924 in the United States
    • 220K current members in 11,300 clubs in 90 countries
    • First Toastmasters Club in Microsoft in 1990
    • Toastmaster Clubs in China began in 1999 with three clubs
    • The number of clubs in China expanded to 51 currently in 2007 and two thirds of the clubs are corporate clubs.
    • Companies who have corporate clubs in China include:

    • The cost for a formal one-day language training presentation is around RMB 50,000 ($6.7K)
