  1. What would you choose between Passion and Money? Are we just running behind money, instead of recognizing our love and passion? At least once in our life, we must have pondered over the above Question. Is it not? In our life there comes a stage where we need to choose between money or love and passion? Is money that important? Can't we continue with what we love like music, dance, drama, travelling!! Money is undoubtedly important in life. You cannot feed your family and pay your bills on just love and passion, and this a merciless reality. However, there are certain types of people who do exist who do not have any concern for money or what money can do for them. They do not find any pleasure in magnificence such as fine clothes, expensive watches and a big house. Their only aim is to follow their passion and create things in life; even if that means that they live uncertainly. And then on the other end, there are people who have no passion in life what so ever, but to chase money. To know that both kinds of people end up leading happy, full lives, you will be surprised. There are different kinds of people, and thus, there is no single answer to whether you should seek love and passion or money. I am of the belief that happiness derived from money is often momentary. The most memorable day of your life might be the day you buy your first Rolex, that exhilarating rush of emotions, that thrill, it would indeed be an elated moment.

  2. But with each Rolex you buy, that delight would fade away, slowly and slowly, until a day would come when it would stop making any difference. Thus, money is important, even vital, but only up to a point. There are many people who earn abundant amounts of money, but end up miserable, because their work was not what they wanted to do in the first place. Before making a decision between money and passion, do a self-analysis on this- will you really be happy 5 years down the line in a job you don’t like? Is a big-fat- check and lavish splendor all you want out of life? At first, it would not make a difference if you are sacrificing your passion for money, as the ample money and nice, shiny objects would be there to fill the hole in your heart. But remember, it is not an object you would be sacrificing, it is your life. Your career takes up 70% of your adult life. On an average a career span is 40 years, 70% of which would amount to 28 years spent at work. 28 years = 10,220 days = 245280 hours = 14716800 minutes That is a huge proportion of time dedication to something that you do not like doing! Pursuing your passion might not make you a top-of-the-line executive or shower you with money, what it will give you, however, is contentment, fulfilment,

  3. happiness and delight. The delight of working on something that is close to your heart, something that kindles your inner emotions and substance you are good at. It is worth any kind of difficulties you might face to pursue it, finding such a passion in life, and following through with it. Its better to persue a simple life, with enough money to keep satisfy your needs, rather than a life with heaps of money, but with no meaning or purpose? There is another factor to this. Its better you don’t chase after money, even if you seek money in life. It is certainly true that there is money in all fields; you just need to make yourself worthy enough in order to obtain it. You might ask how do I make myself worthy enough. The key words here are passion, aptitude, dedication and perseverance. Look to integrate these factors into your life and career, and eventually you will start earning money, whichever field it may be. Conclusion: “Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to Success. You will be always successful, if you love what you are doing." All the best for a bright future! I wish you all the success always! May every turn of life and all your dreams come true and be successfull. Here's wishing you good luck for a prosperous and bright future.
