  1. Double Glazing Units Double glazing units, also known as insulating glass units, are extensively used in doors and windows for residential and commercial buildings, and architectural applications. Double glazing units incur higher initial cost than single glazed windows, as they are designed to provide superior performance with the ability to modify how the environment is perceived from indoors. Double glazing units retain views and natural lights and at the same time provide better energy and thermal performance than single glazing units do. Double glazed units save money on energy bills and reduce outside noise drastically. A variety of styles and colours are available in these units, which can be custom made to suit customer’s requirements.

  2. Types of Double Glazing Units: Double Glazing Units are constructed with cavities around 16mm to 20mm and filled with Argon gas. The wide cavities are necessary to achieve the required insulation or U Value. Argon is a light gas and necessary for wider cavities. Benefits Double Glazing Units Double glazing keeps the heat in your house, reducing your utility bills, as less heating is required to heat your home.

  3. Approximately £150 per annum can be saved based on a 3 bed semi-detached & a B-rated product or above, this has the potential to lower CO2 emissions by 680kg per year. Double glazing acts as a sound proofing mechanism, which makes it an ideal solution if you live near a busy road or train line.
