  4. Tips Before Starting A Business • Find people that can mentor you. • People that have information to share or resources to share. • Connect with the local chapter, or the national chapter, or both of that industry association. • Make sure you have enough funds to sustain your business

  5. Helpful Tips on Sales • First of all, you must have the heart of it. You could go through the steps and you can be hired as the sales person and follow the script. But if you're heart isn't in it, you’re not going to be effective.

  6. Helpful Tips on Sales • Second, you must have control over fear when talking to people. It may take some practice. • It's about looking forward to the experience of making a difference for other people instead of focusing on yourself.

It's getting a sense of their background; it's getting a sense of their hesitation, what they're willing to say and what they're willing not to say.

And at least have money on hand for rainy times. • It’s all about taking risks, face your fears, and move ahead.
