Netgear EX6100 Extender factory reset

To perform a factory reset on the Netgear EX6100 range extender, locate the reset button on the device. Press and hold the button for about 10 seconds until the Power LED blinks. It is usually recessed and may require a pin or paperclip to press. STEP 2 Power off the extender Ensure that the extender is powered on and connected to a power source. If it is already turned off, skip this step. STEP 3 Press and hold the reset button Use a pin or paperclip to press and hold the reset button for about 10 seconds. You may need to use some force to hold it down. The power LED on the extender may blink during this process. STEP 4 Release the reset button After approximately 10 seconds, release the reset button. The extender will reboot and reset to its factory default settings. The power LED will turn solid again once the reset is complete.
