The US CPA license is awarded by all the 55 accountancy state boards. Each state board has its own eligibility rules. After the process of application review and confirmation from the State Board of Accountancy, an application needs to be forwarded to NASBA (National Association of State Boards of Accountancy). NASBA governs the application process for CPAs - candidatesu2019 applications are tracked and reviewed on the NASBA portal.<br><br>
