  3. Choice of Beans:- Beans are the most important and most misunderstood part of the entire coffee tale. Most people would buy any coffee beans from any random grocery store, without thinking about how recently they were roasted. Freshly roasted coffee contains numerous aromatic compounds. So, the older the beans are, the less flavored the coffee is. So, for a better experience for your taste buds, choose freshly roasted beans. Beans roasted atleast 2-4 weeks ago, can be considered as freshly roasted. Roasting date is usually listed on the coffee beans package at the back of it. Avoid using the coffee with no date of roasting mentioned. Source: Coffee Brewing at Home

This is mainly due to the exposure to atmosphere at that point. So, the two factors that you really need to consider while grinding your coffee are, to grind it fresh ideally before you brew the coffee and to achieve a consistent grind size, which means that all the grounded coffee should be approx. the same size. Using a coffee grinder, preferably a burr grinder will help you great way to achieve the same. These grinders consists of structure called burrs, through which the coffee runs through while grinding and results into almost equal sizes. While choosing between electric and handheld buzz grinder, choose a handheld grinder will be budget friendly and will give you a great grinding quality.
