Fees: Examination: $55 License: $10 Renewal: $10 Live Scan: $49 plus fingerprint-rolling fee established by each individual location. Examination Frequency: Examinations given on a daily basis, an applicant can re-take the examination every 15 days. Exam Locations: At most county Agriculture Commission offices. Experience Requirement: N/A Average Time to Process Application: 10 business days. Renewal Period: Up to three fiscal years for renewal of initial license, three years for renewals thereafter. At least 12 hrs of continuing education required to renew license. Special License Requirements: 18 years of age or older. Authority: Business and Professions Code, Division 3, Chapter 14.
