  2. Christ Apostolic Temple, located in Des Moines, is overseen by Pastor Dwight A. Reed. The Leader of the Christ Apostolic Temple He is a leader in developing the ministry of the congregation as a site of community interaction. He has supported a holistic ministry with spiritual, educational, and social service outreach. Community Outreach Services at Christ Apostolic Temple (CATCOS) Food Distribution Every Week: Pastor Dwight Reed and Costco collaborated to provide families with food boxes.. Seasonal Drives Pastor Dwight Reed organizes events such as Toys for Tots around holidays. Support for the Homelessness Bishop Dwight A. Reed provides hot meals and winter clothing twice a month.

  3. Comprehensive Community Programs Mental Health Support “Living Above Anxiety” program in collaboration with NAMI. Addiction Recovery “Road to Recovery” 12-step program with the Iowa Department of Corrections. Youth Development Technical skills training through collaborations with Principal Financial (P515). Employment Assistance Job placement support for persons reentering the workforce.
