Rotary shaft seals are designed to prevent dirt, water and oil-resistant seals around rotary shafts. They can cope with high-pressure operations, and split seal designs makes it possible to easily remove the seal for cleaning. It is a cost-effective option over other rotary seal alternatives because it lowers material losses, reduces maintenance, and Moreover, it corrects many of the issues faced by the traditional lip seal, such as: offers increased durability. Traditional lips are composed primarily of elastomer rubber, which means that over time it loses its flexibility and can undergo irreversible changes. When this happens, the seal can break, causing serious leakages. Since the seals often have to be replaced, they waste a lot of time and money. With metal housing, CinchSeals are protected against environmental factors that can cause the elastomer to degenerate. Moreover, they are designed to have split, making assembly and removal easy.
