They can come in many forms. What is a robot and how does it work? A typical robot has a movable physical structure, a motor of some sort, a sensor system, a power supply and a computer "brain" that controls all of these elements. Essentially, robots are man-made versions of animal life; they are machines that replicate human and animal behavior. A robot is a machine, especially one programmable by a computer capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically. A robot can be guided by an external control device, or the control may be embedded within. There are 3 things that define a robot: ● An autonomous machine capable of sensing its environment. ● carrying out computations to make decisions ● performing actions in the real world. Robotics is a great subject for kids to try. The course teaches them to construct simple and efficient robots for kids to explore.
