The Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) is the legal organization in charge of executing environmental laws and regulations within the administration of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Its goal is to control and minimize air and water pollution in the state. The board was established on 3 February 1975 under the Water Pollution Prevention and Control Act, although it was later renamed the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board.
