Prior to taking on this role, she had held positions in the fields of corporate communications and media relations at the firm, and played a role in the creation of their new brand. Before joining Galp Energia, she held a position in media relations for the Internal Affairs Minister of Portugal’s XV Constitutional Government, as well as working in the Image and Communication Department at Portucel. The Debates bring together EACD members to network and con- nect, whilst further promoting the EACD‘s vision, and giving communica- tors the opportunity to learn from one another‘s ideas and experiences. www.eacd-online.eu José Bancaleiro Managing Partner Stanton Chase International José Bancaleiro holds a Law degree, and an MBA in Marketing, and is currently completing his PhD in Labour Sciences. He has been an HR Director for companies such as Philip Morris, GlaxoSmit- hkline, Altitude Software, Essilor, OPCA, and Banco Finantia. He regularly lectures and has been widely published (including authoring three books), and was the first recipient of a career award given to an HR Professional in Portugal. Isabel Borgas Head of Corporate Communication Sonaecom As part of her role at Sonaecom, Isabel Borgas is active in the Communication Advisory Group (GCC) at Sonae SGPS, and the Corporate Affairs and Media Relations Committee of Orange/Fran- ce Telecom. She also collaborates with EPG-UPBS Management School Porto as a Consultant and Teacher of Corporate and Internal Communicati- on. As well as being a Founder Member of the EACD, and until recently a Board Member, she is a frequent speaker on corporate communication and CSR. Pedro Cabrita Carneiro Managing Partner Reputation Institute Pedro Cabrita Carneiro holds an Economics degree and an MBA from UNL Lisbon, and is currently the Managing Partner at On consulting, which is an associate company of the Reputation Institute. He is an Associate Teacher at FCEE-UCP Lisbon, and has a wealth of experience, having previously held positions as Managing Director at Levereli- da Portugal, Board Member at Onitelecom, and, more recently, as Vice-President of Direct Group Portugal (Bertelsmann AG).
