  1. THE NEW WAY TO SEARCH AND SHOP FOR DIAMONDS • www.diamondhedge.com

  2. ABOUT US Diamond Hedge simplifies the way people shop for diamonds. We are an independent firm that helps to narrow down the selection for any occasion. We work with only the best diamond companies in the world that source only ethical and conflict-free diamonds. We understand how stressful it can be to shop for a diamond, and we aim to simplify the process by providing a place to compare diamonds by carat, color, cut, clarity, price and other diamond specifications. Once the customer finds the perfect diamond, they can buy the diamond directly from the vendor of their choice.

  3. 4CS OF DIAMONDS A diamond's 4C's represent the four main components of its beauty and structure: Cut, Color, Clarity and Carat. When looking at a diamond, the eye perceives a balance of its characteristics and components, including, but not limited to, the 4C's diamond.

  4. CARAT DIAMOND HEDGE • Carat • Carat denotes the weight of a diamond, not the size. Two diamonds that have the same carat weight may actually have very different sizes in millimeters. Details • A Diamond’s Weight is measured in Carats. One carat is equal to 200 milligrams, or 0.2 grams. The weight of smaller diamonds is often expressed as points instead of carats -- there are 100 points in a Carat. Another way to look at it is to say that each point equals 0.01, or One-Hundred, of a Carat. For example, 0.08 means eight One-Hundred, so a 0.08 Carat Diamond equals eight points. PRODUCT CATALOG

  5. CLARITY - DIAMOND HEDGE • Clarity • Diamond clarity is the assessment of small imperfections on the surface and within the stone. The highest grades are FL-IF, which means Flawless/Internally Flawless. The grading scale determines how many inclusions (air bubbles, cracks, etc.) and blemishes a diamond contains. Details • Clarity is one of the most important characteristics of a diamond. It is the quality of diamonds relating to the existence and visual appearance of internal characteristics of a diamond called inclusions, and surface defects called blemishes.

  6. CUT - DIAMOND HEDGE • Cut • Diamond cut means how well a diamond’s facets interact with light. The Cut gives a diamond its sparkle and its ability to reflect light and shine. Diamond Hedge Ideal represents roughly the top 1% of diamond quality based on cut. Details • One of the most defining characteristics of a diamond is its cut, since this is what gives a diamond its sparkle. While high grades of color, clarity, and carat weight also contribute to a diamond's price and appeal, it's the cut that determines the symmetry of the stone's facets, its overall proportions, and its ability to reflect light (aka the ‘bling-bling’ effect).
