  1. Importance of clinical trials in drug development The pharmaceutical industry is constantly going through rapid growth and progress in creation of new medication and drugs to combat the pandemic and its effects. The pharmaceutical industry is undergoing drastic changes in their methods of production with more and more organisations realising the sheer importance of clinical trials and research and how much it aides them in the development of drugs for disease. The pharmacology sector is quickly realising the importance of clinical research in terms of creating and mass-producing drugs that can effectively cure illnesses without causing any side effects in the patients. To take a deeper look into why clinical trial are of the utmost importance in the improvement of existing medicine as well as the creation of new effective, safe drugs for future use. Clinical Trials- This is when medication or new drugs are being tested for public use, during an ongoing clinical research study. It is an experimental technique created to get a solution to a detailed investigation which delves into the treatment of disease and illness that currently have no perfect cure. This is also done to ensure the safety of the medication when it’s released for general use as it involves human lives and is a very meticulous, detail-oriented manner of attaining results that will be safe and fully functional. Clinical trials are held for the developmental processes of drugs, as a method of bringing new pharmaceutical medication to the masses as soon as a lead component has been detected and identified during the phase of discovery of the drug. Clinical trials take place in 4 distinct phases

  2. •Phase 1- this is the initial testing phase, where the clinical trial is tested on a significantly small group of people as it is the first stage of testing and the Clinical Researchers haven’t seen the effects of the drug in work. This phase is crucial as its when they determine whether the drug can be tested on a larger group, based on its effects and what the right dose of medicine is necessary to be genuinely helpful. •Phase 2- this phase is an intermediary one, where they shift from the small group to a slightly larger one as a method of having knowledge about the general majority rather than just a specific group. This is a vital stage when it comes to figuring out the more minor effects of the drug that may have gone previously unnoticed due to the small number of people being tested. •Phase 3- this is the stage right before gaining approval for large scale mass production, as the medication will now be distributed to a much larger population, of people from different geographical areas as a way of getting insights into the effect of the medicine on a diverse group of people. Once the medication is found to be effective and non-threatening to people from varied backgrounds. •Phase 4- this is the phase that occurs when the researchers have government authorisation to distribute the drug worldwide and observe the effects of the medication, which will be recorded for future reference and production of the drug. This phase takes a long amount of time to reach and not all clinical trials will reach

  3. this phase, but the ones that do will create a wonderfully positive impact on the lives of the people. Clariwell Global Services offers a course in Clinical Research which encompasses a unique and distinctive style of learning, with a course structure that manages to give you in-depth insights into the industry as well as helps foster a passion for research and development. The course requires the candidates to have a strong understanding or background in Life sciences as it will be at the focus of the course, with its highly trained industry experts who give real time, field experiential training to the candidates. Aside from this they also foster learning of soft skills such as communication, leadership for trials and more, with their emphases on employment for the candidates of the course you can rest assured of getting into the field of clinical research once you’ve completed the course. This course will make you a valuable applicant in the field of pharmaceutical and medical research as it integrates teaching related to clinical data management systems, clinical research associates and in depth analysis of clinical investigation, which equips you as a future Clinical Research employee, whether you’re a fresher or an experienced worker.
