Introduction MSP Airport is a hub for Southwest Airlines, which operates out of the Southwest Terminal. This guide will provide you with a step-by-step guide to navigating the Southwest Terminal at MSP Airport, so you can travel with confidence. Southwest Terminal Overview Terminal Location The Southwest Terminal is located at Terminal 2 of MSP Airport. It is a separate terminal from the other airlines, which are located in Terminal 1. The two terminals are connected by the Light Rail Transit (LRT) service, which runs 24/7. Parking There are two parking options for the Southwest Terminal: the General Parking Lot and the Value Parking Lot. The General Parking Lot is located directly across from the terminal, while the Value Parking Lot is located a short shuttle ride away. Terminal Layout The Southwest Terminal is a small terminal with only one concourse, which is divided into two levels. The lower level is for arrivals, baggage claim, and ground transportation. The upper level is for departures, check-in, and security. Check-In

You can check in up to 24 hours before your flight, select your seat, and print your boarding pass or save it to your mobile device. The counter is located near the entrance to the terminal. Security TSA PreCheck If you have TSA PreCheck, you can use the dedicated PreCheck lane at the Southwest Terminal. This will allow you to go through security faster, without having to remove your shoes, belt, or light jacket. There are typically two security lanes open, which can lead to longer wait times during peak travel periods.
