  5. How to Pray Istikhara Dua Before praying with the Istikhara dua you must make your intentions clear. Firstly recite two rakaʿāt of the voluntary prayer means any prayer besides the five obligatory prayers. Now you must recite any surah after finishing each rakah. www.deeninuskhe.com

  6. Once you complete these steps by saying your salām for the prayer then you recite the dua for Istikhara. You can recite dus in any language you are comfortable with whether in Arabic, English, or transliteration.
