Gulbarga is a city in the Indian state of Karnataka and  is famous for toordal /Pigeon pea and the limestone deposits.The city is well known for its many places of architectural, historical and religious importance.It is called one of the Sufi cities as the famous religious places to visit in Gulbarga are Khwaja Banda Nawaz Dargah and Ladle Mashak in Aland taluk. It also has fort built during Bahmani rule and has many domes like Hafth Gumbad (seven domes together) and Chor Gumbad. The largest collection of Islamic art is seen here and it keeps the  legacy of Islamic arts strong and alive.
