Page 2 The Tasks Task #1: You are a DJ that must create 1 hour worth of music for a Math Dance. You will keep a running time of your songs. Task #2: You will find the measures of central tendencies of your data. In simple terms, the mean, median, mode, and range of your data. Task #3: You will change the lyrics to a song of choice that will have a correlation to a math concept. Let’s Rock!
Page 3 Task #1 Process You are the DJ. *Your task is to create 1 hour of music for the Math Dance. *On the spreadsheet provided on the next page, list the song titles, artists, year recorded, genres, and time of each song. *Each song must have a correlation to mathematics, either in the title or the artist. (Check out myexamples) *No song may be over 7 minutes long. *You may not use more than 2 songs from each artist. * You must keep a running time of the songs.
