  1. How to do Photoshoot of A Big Fat Hindu Wedding? A Hindu wedding comes with a lot of rituals, pre-wedding rituals, post-wedding rituals, etc. India has a very diverse culture and each culture has its own rituals and ceremonies attached to the wedding. Thus, wedding photography is different from function photography. This is not the job of an amateur. You will require a professional photographer with a professional camera. Let’s see here some of the tips for the Hindu wedding photoshoot. As seen earlier, it is ideal to go for a professional photographer who can capture the important moments of a perfect big fat Hindu wedding. The photographer needs to have two sets of lens to capture different angles and frames. He needs to have separate equipment for videography so that every moment is captured in images as well as action. He should have a list of crucial moments of the wedding that should be captured in advance. Though he needs to have a camera with a flashlight, it is also ideal to take a photograph in the natural light as well as in the electric lights in the venue. All these need to be arranged well in advance so that the Hindu wedding photoshoot can be done in an organised manner and all the best moments can be captured. A day time wedding must be captured in natural sunlight. If the venue is not open mandap, then he has to ensure that he takes some pictures in the natural light i.e. the picture of smiling bride, the elated groom, their friends, siblings, cousins, parents, everybody should be shot before the ritual starts. You have to take the pictures in a perfect way so that it looks candid and he needs to have the cooperation of all. He should always be ready with the camera so that he can capture the best moments. Each and every ritual should be captured. The entry of the bride along with her sister or cousins or best friends through the stairs and that of the groom should be photographed from top to bottom. The emotional moments of the bride with her mother and sisters should be photographed. The groom seeing the bride in all her bridal look and the mischievous way the first time their eyes meet on the day of the wedding. The aashirvaad ceremony, the phere where the bride and groom walk circling the holy fire and the sindoor where the groom keeping the sindoor on the bride, bride and groom looking at each other while the priest chants the mantras, then the reception, etc. Capturing all these moments in a Hindu wedding photoshoot is essential. Go in for a professional photographer who can immortalise each and every moment of your big day.
