This issue is especially prevalent in the heart of Mumbai’s bustling slums and understaffed police stations—among people who work round the clock and often don’t have the time for personal care. The DebabrataAuro Foundation (DAF), a dedicated Charitable trust in Mumbai has been working tirelessly in the background, bringing about a healthcare revolution—one fungal check-up camp at a time. They are more prevalent in Mumbai slums because of poor sanitation and cramped living conditions. Specialized dermatology camps conducted over the last few years by a Genuine NGO in India, the DebabrataAuro Foundation, have helped hundreds combat the spread of fungal infections and provided essential treatment to vulnerable populations. • Key Healthcare Outreach Events by DAF • 1. SimlaNagar, Walkeshwar , March 3, 2024 • Beneficiaries: 64 individuals of age groups • The camp was conducted with a team of dermatologists, and free medicines were distributed. • 2. Vile Parle Police Station, March 7, 2024 • Beneficiaries: More than 50 police personne; • Free checkup camp for the ever hardworking police officers of the city; they were given free medicines and assistance with existing

  4. conditions. Each officer was given a TEC voucher for ₹2000 for dermatology treatments and 50% off on all aesthetic procedures. • 3. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Nagar, Colaba May 12, 2024 • Beneficiaries – 55 individuals • The coastal slum residents were treated, and on site medical assistance was provided along with guidelines for future prevention. • 4. Shastri Nagar Slum, Cuffe Parade, July 4, 2024 • Beneficiaries: 33 individuals • The individuals were screened by top dermatologists of TEC, and treated and advised for the prevention of fungal infections. • 5. Sion and Matunga Police Station, July 11, 2024 • Beneficiaries: 40 police officers and staff • This camp was conducted for fungal infection screening among the police station staff. • 6. Ghatkopar Police Station, July 18, 2024 • Beneficiaries: 30 police personnel and other staff • Diagnosis and treatment of fungal infections.

Kanjurmarg Police Station, August 1, 2024 • Beneficiaries: 45 police officers • The officers were treated on site, with anti-fungal medication, creams and powders, and distributed a TEC voucher of ₹2000. • 8. Shiv SenaShakha, Churchgate, Colaba Slum, August 8, 2024 • Beneficiaries: 50 individuals • Local slum residents were diagnosed and treated for fungal infections. • 9. VinobaBhave Nagar Police Station, August 22, 2024 • Beneficiaries: 50 Police officers • Police personnel were treated, vouchers distributed, and anti-fungal creams and powders given. • DAF fungal check-up camps have treated more than 400 individuals and educated hundreds of others about the perils of ignoring fungal infections. The free dermatology screen and medicine distribution is a part of the holistic aim to create a healthier community.
