  1. WELCOME TODIGITAL MARKETING

  2. What is digital marketing? • Digital marketing is the promotion of brands or products using the internet and digital communication channels to connect with potential and current customers. • This includes strategies like search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, email marketing, and online advertising to engage with audiences and achieve business goals.

  3. What is seo? • SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is the practice of optimizing a website to increase its visibility and rank higher in search engine results pages (SERPs) for unpaid, or "organic," traffic.

  4. Types  of  SEO • White hat SEO • Black hat SEO • Grey   hat SEO

  5. What is white hut seo? • SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is the practice of optimizing a website to increase its visibility and rank higher in search engine results pages (SERPs) for unpaid, or "organic," traffic.  •  These methods include creating high-quality content, optimizing for mobile and site speed, improving site navigation, using descriptive meta tags, and earning high-quality backlinks through organic outreach.

  6. What is black hat seo?  • Black hat SEO is a type of SEO optimization that uses unethical techniques to manipulate search ranking results for the site. These techniques don't comply with search engine guidelines for quality, and there are risks involved with using them.

  7. What Is grey hat seo? • Grey Hat SEO refers to search engine optimization techniques that are neither fully compliant with search engine guidelines nor outright manipulative like Black Hat SEO. •    These methods often exist in a questionable area, potentially improving rankings through risky or ethically ambiguous tactics but carrying a risk of search engine penalties if discovered.

  8. Types of web traffic • Organic • Inorganic • Social • Refferal • Direct

  9. What is organic web traffic? • Organic web traffic refers to visitors who find your website by clicking on unpaid links within search engine results pages (SERPs) like those from Google, Bing, or DuckDuckGo. This means people discover your site naturally by searching for relevant keywords or phrases, rather than being directed there by paid ads, social media, or other referral sources.

  10. What is inorganic web traffic? • Inorganic web traffic refers to visitors who arrive at a website as a result of paid promotion, such as pay-per-click (PPC) ads, social media advertisements, or other forms of paid campaigns.

  11. What is social web traffic? • In social media, traffic refers to visitors who arrive at your website by clicking a link from a social media platform. This traffic is a crucial metric for businesses to measure the effectiveness of their social media marketing efforts, as it indicates audience engagement and helps drive conversions.

  12. What is refferal web traffic? • Referral web traffic is website traffic that originates from a link on another website, rather than from a search engine or direct entry. Visitors arrive at a site after clicking a hyperlink on a different domain, such as a blog post, social media share, online directory, or review site.

  13. What is direct web traffic • Direct web traffic refers to website visits from users who go to a URL without a trackable source, such as typing the URL directly into their browser, using a bookmark, or clicking a link without proper tracking data (like UTM parameters). This traffic is often an indicator of brand awareness, as users are intentionally seeking out the website.
