The population is growing constantly and the number is estimated to reach around eight million by 2021. The affordable housing home assignment was specifically intended in accordance with MPD 2021. Due to rising land prices, direct land acquisition is impossible. Because of this, builders and citizens face great problems. Delhi’s Land Pooling Policy emerges as a ray of hope for individuals who have been in a totally adverse setting to date. Single window systems and high floor area ratio are some of the most significant characteristics of this strategy. Because of the joint attempts of the government and the Delhi development authority, the property pooling policy has come into effect. The objective of the strategy is to acquire about 40,000 acres of property in rural regions such as Narela, Najafgarh, and Bwana. The Delhi Development Authority has the authority to establish a distinct unit for the certifications and the applications approvals of land pooling. 2)For unified planning, service and other operations, the group landowners or individual landowners will have the flexibility to assemble or surrender property within a particular moment. 3)DDA is solely responsible for the growth of physical infrastructures such as electricity supply, transport and traffic, water supply and other equipment. 4)The landowners shall retain a portion of the property regardless of the use of property committed to the development plan. 5)The DE or Developer Entity and the DDA J zone shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the land pooling process together with various other facilities. With an estimated 1.94 crores population by 2018, Delhi is likely on the brink of obtaining the third place in the list of the world’s most populated metropolitans. Just after Tokyo, it would rank. It should be noted, however, that the funds available in Delhi are only enough to curb a population of around 1.5 crore individuals. It is also essential to note that the services and resources available in the domestic capital have not seen any rise or enhancement lately as the population graph increases day by day. Therefore, there is this dire need to create alternatives that can readily eliminate property problems along with the common people’s problems related to other installations. MPD 2021 seeks to address the gap in Delhi’s housing demand for flats.
