  1. DDA J Zo DDA J Zone ne – – Gre Opportunities Opportunities Greater and ater and Better Better The Zonal Plan has two basic goals. First: offering sufficient shelter and both social and physical infrastructure for the assigned population. Second: the development of extensive institutional and commercial uses at the key transport corridor. Dwarka sub-city forms a part of the two extension plan approved by the responsible Authority via Agenda No. 79 dated 30/06/1987 as part of Land Pooling Policy and MPD 2021. The DDA J Zone focuses on environment conservation for providing open spaces and green area for the public. Community, Public and Private Participation for removing the bottleneck and the delay of land assembly by the mix of new assembly procedures and land acquisition involving private and public sector (land owner).

  2. Standardization of unauthorized built up or colonies existing according to the government policy with the aim of offering basic amenities. As the topography of J Zone has a slight slope towards Najafgarh Drain, the reason of that is the natural flow of storm drain from the nearby areas such as Mundka, Rohtak railway station, Bakkarwala, Nilothi, Ranhola (Safipur) and various other villages constructed region of unauthorized colonies towards Najafgarh Drain. The J Zone has an area of 6515 hectares. Out of 6515 hectares, 2883 hectares of land is accessible in the form of unauthorized colonies or built up area (commercial, residential and industrial). The population is 5 lakh according to the 2001 census and people reside in 1802 unauthorized dwellings and around n26 villages. Calculating the exact numbers is not possible because of the difference in revenue/physical village boundary along with the census charges of the zone. Lok Nayak Puram is the only planned residential unit in J Zone. It was brought about by the labors of the DDA and is spread over an area of around 80 hectares. A road of 100 m R/W has also been proposed across this zone. This road will be serving as one of the most important transport corridors connecting J Zone with NH-10 and NH-8.
