  1. Chandoa Sahib Chandoa Sahib is a sort of canopy constructed of highly decorated fabric that is covered by Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji from the top. It is typically positioned at the top of the Guru’s chair. The corners are attached to the ceiling, and the four posts are made of wood or metal. While moving from the Gurdwara to its final place of rest, it is a palki sahib that has an attached Chandoa Sahib. The most common place to see it is Gurdwara Sahib but according to Sikh codes of conduct regardless of whether someone has a guru sahib in their home, the beautifully tied chandoa sahib is a requirement.
