  1. How To Apply For ‘Settled Status’For EU Citizens

  2. Epilogue Following Brexit, all EU citizens already living in the UK must be sceptical about their legal status. These European Union citizens can apply for 'settled status' under the Settlement Scheme to continue living in the UK after 30 June 2021. The British government reached an agreement with the EU on the terms of the UK's withdrawal from the EU, including arrangements related to the legal status of the EU citizens. It has already been settled in the 19th March draft of the treaty. It covers the EU citizens who already live in the UK or arrive here before 31 December 2020. After applying, if your application is successful, you will get either settled or pre-settled status. You may be able to stay in the UK without applying - for example, if you’re an Irish citizen or have indefinite leave to remain (ILR).
