  2. Craig Gaskill has worked as a manager in the retail industry since 2008, when he was made Operations Manager for a PlayMart store. PlayMart is a local Los Angeles pet products company that caters to pet owners of all kinds. Gaskill found himself with many more responsibilities that he had to take care of in the store. https://craiggaskill.wordpress.com/

  3. Craig Gaskill is now in charge of managing the normal machinations and operations that have to take place in the store every day, like stocking the right products in the right places for customers, caring for the live animals that the store sells, and more. Here are three skills you need to master to be a manager: https://craiggaskill.wordpress.com/

  4. Scheduling :Not only does Craig Gaskill add his input to the store employee schedules in all departments, he also has to carefully schedule his time in the store to efficiently deal with all of the operations going on and to help customers when they need it. https://craiggaskill.wordpress.com/

  5. Coaching : Soon or later, in a retail setting especially, you will have to show and teach someone how to do a certain task faster and better. This takes exquisite patience on your part and a useful communication style that your employees will respond to. https://craiggaskill.wordpress.com/

  6. Encouragement : You’ll always have employees having a bad day or two. We all do. The key for you as a manager to keep your department or store running smoothly is to give as much positive encouragement and reinforcement so they can work through their difficult times and still produce results. Craig Gaskill has helped his store in Los Angeles become the most successful PlayMart store in the district. https://craiggaskill.wordpress.com/
