  1. 8 Easy Ways to Do Up a Throw Blanket I was watching “This Is Us” earlier this week – wait, have you seen it? If you haven’t already, just go ahead and binge-watch the whole thing right now (guaranteed tears). Anyway, in one episode, Kate was desperately attempting to get her apartment ready for a visit from relatives. “This THROW won’t THROW!!!” she repeatedly says as she throws a towel over the sofa. I couldn’t stop laughing because that was just how I felt that morning! I discovered eight different ways to style a throw blanket, and I’m going to show you how to do each one! So, before you Google “bed sheet sets on sale”, learn these styling techniques of throwing blankets.

  2. #1 Fold and Throw This is the most “modern” of all the looks! Fold the throw blanket in half vertically, take the folded edge in the center, and throw it to the couch’s corner. To achieve the perfect look, play around with the blanket’s edges and create ripples in the top layer of the blanket. #2 The Orderly Solution Try this “orderly” approach for a more formal look! Fold the throw blanket in thirds lengthwise, then drape it over the back of the sofa so that the bottom reaches the cushion’s foundation. #3 The Lazy Throw Another timeless glimpse! Fold the throw blanket in half vertically, then drape it over the back of the couch at an angle and fan it out softly towards the floor. For a super relaxed look, create ripples in the top layer of the blanket. #4 The Flop & Flip It doesn’t get any easier than this. Fold the throw blanket vertically in half and then over your shoulder. Toss it over the sofa’s corner. Done and dusted. #5 The Lazy Over-the-Arm Throw This is one of my favorites! It appears to be particularly… relaxing! Laugh out loud. Fold the throw blanket vertically in half and then in half again. Drape it over the couch’s arm and, if possible, tuck it between the arm and the seatback to keep it in place. For a comfortable-casual look, fan out the bottom of the throw blanket over the seat cushion and build ripples.

  3. #6 The Waterfall It’s similar to the Orderly Strategy, but it’s a little more assertive. Fold the throw blanket in thirds lengthwise and drape it across the back of the sofa, pushing it into the back crevice and then over the front. #7 The Casually Uneven Throw If your throw has fringe on the corners, this look is perfect for showcasing it. Pretend to fold the throw blankets for sale in half vertically, but one hand should be about 4 inches longer than the other. Drape it over the back of the sofa, leaving both sides exposed. For a comfortable look, create ripples in the top layer of the blanket. #8 The Oh-Crap-There’s-a-Stain-on-My-Throw Hehehehehehe. Okay, there are many ways to cover a stain, but this one will be particularly effective! Fold the throw blanket in half and drape it over the couch’s back. Then, loosen the blanket up so that the stain falls to the back!
