This helps in facilitating the risk management at workplace and the total implementation of Safety and Health Management Systems in factory premises The Factories Act 1948 states that a factory must obtain approval from the labor and employment department for its building plan before it covers itself for registration of a factory. Under this act, Factory license registration and renewal is also done to ensure the safety of workers.As per factory act 1948, any factory needs to obtain a factory license if: ✓ 10 or more workers are involved in manufacturing activity with the aid of power on any day of the preceding 12 months or ✓ 20 or more worker is involved in manufacturing activity without aid of power on any day of the preceding 12 months Before starting construction, reconstruction of a factory, or in the event of factory expansion, the entrepreneur/applicant must apply for approval of the factory plan and obtain permission for construction. Review of the duly signed and executed Documents by our experts and request for additional information/documents Prep aration of Prep aration of drafts drafts Post receipt of initial set of documents the respective drafts and application for grant of factory licence is prepared. FILE SUBMISSION FILE SUBMISSION Submission of application along with the attachments and prescribed fees post which the Challan is generated.
