  2. Live Oak Vodka - Coastal Bend Distilling, Co. From crawfish boils to the blues, there's a lot to love about Louisiana that's made its way across the Sabine river and into our neck of the woods. This superb small-batch single barrel whiskey was distilled in Thibodeaux and aged in oak casks before it journeyed to our distillery in South Texas for bottling. Now it proudly bears the seal of Coastal Bend Distilling Co., but we credit the distillery in Louisiana who made this masterpiece. When our friends from Donner-Peltier Distillers in Thibodeaux called us up to see if we wanted to buy a couple barrels of their whiskey, we jumped in our truck and hauled on over the border into Louisiana.  This is one of our rarest productions, and you'd be wise to get your hands on a bottle to cherish and share with the ones you love.

  3. About us - Coastal Bend Distilling, Co. MEET OUR FOUNDER Kenneth Bethune is often asked, "Why a distillery?" and "Why Beeville?" When any other entrepreneur would want to establish business in booming Texas cities like San Antonio or Austin, Bethune wanted to put down roots in an understated city that was a part of history. With his family ranch not far off in Live Oak County, the city of Beeville played a role in his youth and in his vision as an entrepreneur. Bethune is an advocate for small-town America and Beeville perfectly encapsulates all the good that small towns have to offer. The other question - Why a distillery? - well that answer came a little more easily. It sounded fun. And it is. Bethune established Coastal Bend Distilling Co. in 2016 and we opened our doors in January 2019.   its own against any other label and gives back to the community that we love so dearly.
