For extra protection, rub coconut oil from the root to tip within sectioned hair to hydrate hair. Applying coconut oil before lightening hair can be quite effective for the hair’s condition. Let it absorb into your hair for at least an hour, even longer if possible. Then you can pre-light or bleach.
